We're Going to the Fair

Alot has changed in the 11 years we’ve been married. Who would imagine that we would have two great boys, be stuck in an apartment with no hot water, and love every minute of it.

Our anniversary weekend was not full of wining and dining, but it was fun none the less. Yesterday we headed over to the fair for our anniversary dinner and some entertainment. We went back to a BBQ place that had good chicken and beer. Can’t mess that up too much. The owner was very nice, and even swapped addresses with us. We have no clue what he was saying, but we think he was inviting us back next weekend for dinner. His picture is attached.

Hayden just kicked back the whole time and took it all in. This was his first big adventure out in the stroller with us. He looked around and checked out the crowd. He ended up sleeping most of the way home. See photo.

Spencer is still talking about going on the antique merry go round. They looked old, but they still worked. Not a lot of safety built into these rides, so Dad was next to him the whole time.

Today was another gorgeous day. We didn’t venture too far out. We spent most of the day preparing for Court tomorrow. We found a computerized Russian translator on line and translated our request to reduce our stay. I just hope it doesn’t come out like, ”Hayden’s my kid, now let me go home”. Although that’s way we feel.

Tomorrow’s a big day…Hayden will officially be our Child!!!!!! We’ll let you know how it goes.
