They're Home!

Bob/Spencer made it home safe and sound. Their plane was late into Detroit and late into San Francisco. Instead of arriving at 5:35pm; they arrived after de boarding/going through Customs at 10pm. Grandma and Auntie Helen were there to greet them both.

Then Grandma drove home to Sacramento, arrived around midnight, with Spencer wide eyed and bushy tailed. Now the fun begins in getting him back onto our time zone/back into a routine. Thankfully, Grandma will be staying with Bob for a bit to help out.

Not much new on my side of the world. Lena has an American couple staying with her at her apartment, while they are over here adopting a child. I was supposed to meet up with them tonight for dinner at the Assortie. Ended up canceling out when a storm set in around 5pm. The thunder and lightening was something to see/hear. Those of us on the west coast don’t get too many storms like this. Not much rain with it though. So I’ll have to meet them another day.

Hayden is fine except he has become very skittish since Bob/Spencer left. If I haven’t’ said anything in a while, and them speak to him it startles him. After my shower I went in to get him, and when he saw me with wet hair he started to cry, I mean really crying hard. So I guess I’m not the only one who misses his Dad and brother.

Another day done, until tomorrow.

Since Bob and Spencer didn't de-plane from their original flight that was an hour & 45 minutes late, Grandma & I were worried. Luckily NWA let us know that they were on the next flight. Boy were we glad to see them walking down the corridor! Spencer had apparently charmed a fellow passenger who came by to greet us at the baggage claim. I'm so happy to have been able to meet & greet them :)
