Small Favors

Woke this morning to not only a new day; but the cold water is back on! Hip Hip Horray—no more filling of the toilet to flush! Thank goodness for the small blessings in life!

Annie came by today, so thankfully I did not to have to give her lessons on how to flush! Instead, was just able to tell her about my day yesterday. To which she was truly amazed. We ventured out again for another round of shopping.

Ended the day with dinner with a chicken from the chicken lady, made some rice and had fresh tomatoes. Haven’t eaten a good full meal in while, since Bob/Spencer left, and neither has she. So it was good for both of us. Enjoyed the company and the day.

Not much new to report. This is a pic of the local Fire Truck. The station is directly in front of our building.


On the other side of the world: Bob/Spencer are getting interviewed by Channel 13 today. We paid and exorbitant amount of money on our airfare. Bob has been trying to get my flight re routed to Boston so we can visit with his Dad/family. KLM/Northwest has been unyielding in their stance that we can not re route my flight. So, our friend Acsa suggested we contact “Channel 13 Investigates”. A segment on the local news to see if they could look into the problem or assist in any way. Well they are looking into it, and we’ll have to see what they have to say/can do. Might not work, but definitely worth the shot. So, waiting on pins and needles to see how the “interview” goes.
